Morning Lord,
   I must confess that I don't want to get up and get to work.  I want to be a slug a bug and pull the covers back over me.  I want to tell the world I am too tired to start the day so just leave me alone. 
    But that is not what You want from me.  You want me to serve others and do it lovingly.  You want me to bolster and encourage others.  So if that's the plan, then God, You have got Your work cut out for You because I am totally relying on Your grace to get through the day. Be with me. Energize me. Use me.    Amen
