DAY 272

Dear Lord,
   You gave me an opportunity to be outside yesterday and the earth was teaming with life.  Everywhere I looked the saw the wildlife bound with energy and joy.  Make me like them, Lord.  Make me bound with energy and joy.  Let the love I feel from You flow over into the lives of those I touch today.   Let them become filled with energy and joy.  Let all the earth praise and glorify You with energy and joy.  Amen

DAY 271

  Today is"church day" as I used to call Sundays when I was a toddler.  As a little one the days of the week are meaningless before you are school age.  But I knew something special and joyous would happen once a week when  I could go to church /Sunday school.   I would feel special and loved there on that day.  So every morning when my mother woke me I would ask if it was church day.  When she finally could say, yes, it's church day, my whole world exploded into sunshine.
   Now many decades later I find joy and love in celebrating church day.  As a mature adult I now know we come to worship and honor You, Lord God.  We come to give back to You.  I am thankful for this opportunity to commune with others in worshipping You. 
  So, yes, today is church day, God and I want to thank you for all the gifts I have received from You throughout these many years.  How can I ever repay You for the love and kindness You have given me in my lifetime?  I will try through songs honoring and praising You.  I willl try through prayer and meditation.  I will try through tithing back to you a portion of what you have given me.  And, most of all, I will try by sharing Your love with others.  Amen

DAY 270

I know You, Lord Jesus Christ, who walked over the troubled waters of human experiences two thousand years ago, are the very center of my being.  You are the inner calm that stills the tempest and I can call upon that in my hour of need.  I know that truth and peace of mind will always be triumphant within me. 

DAY 269

Lord,
   I have been working on this forgiveness issue for a long time.  Every time I think I have a handle on it up pops another buried memory.  I want all the bitterness, resentment and unhappiness to dissolve and melt away.  I want to be free from the deep, deep anger that invades my inner being.  Right now I release it all and turn it over to You, Lord.  I give it to You.  I am free, now.  Thank You, Lord, for giving me this gift of cleansing forgiveness.  I accept it and will rejoice in it.  Amen

   How can I ever keep up with all the good You do for me, God?  Again and again, You come to my aid.  You always know what I need, even before I ask.
   How tender and sure is Your goodness.  When I need a friend You send one who is loving and true.  When I seek advice You provide it in Your word.
   Thank You for how You remind others to pray for me when I don't even know they are doing so.
   When I fall You are there to pick me up.  When I am weak You are strong for me.  When I am in trouble You help me through.  When I am sorrowful You console me.  Thank You for being so good.
  How can I repay You, Lord?  I will spread Your goodness to others, in Jesus' name.

God,
  With Your help I refuse to worry about anything.  I have complete confidence that You will always be with me and direct everything I do.  You control my affairs and lead me to a path of peace and happiness.
   I am now free from any sense of condemnation and animosity.  I know the kingdom of heaven is at hand and I am resolved to enter the kingdom.  Worry is a thing of the past.  I am free, at peace and at rest.  In calm trust I let it be so.  Amen

Lord God Almighty,
   I have had an amazing adventure getting to know You and trust You.  I now rely upon You completely. 
  Thank You for opening my heart to Your love.  Thank you for pressing me and changing me.  At times the pain was excrutiating but I came through it and am a Child of God for it.

 How long, O Lord, until justice shall triumph on the earth?  How long until those who follow the way of peace no longer fall before the guns of the violent?  How long until children grow up in innocence, surrounded by love?  How long, O Lord, until there is a new heaven and a new earth?
  O God, strengthen us; keep hope alive within us; come to us in our worship.  Confirm by Your presence that love will indeed conquer all. 

DAY 262

Lord God Almighty,
   Look into my heart and cleanse me from all iniquity.  I am heartfully sorry for offending You and ask Your forgiveness.  Refresh my soul, Lord.  I yearn to rest in Your loving kindness within Your all encompassing arms.  Amen

Dear Lord,
   All I have is Yours.  I give praise and thanks for all this unconditional love.  It is wonderful to know I am Your child. 
  Be with me, Lord, as I go about my day.  Help me be an instrument of Yours.  Watch over me and protect through  upcoming trials.  Bless those who interact with me today.  Amen

God,
    Thank You for this day, this birthday anniversary.  I am Your daughter and proudly claim it.  I am Yours.  I know, deeply know, that I am loved by You.  Today I rejoice in my being.  Today I offer You the gift of my life for You to do with as You please.  Amen

Lord God Almighty,
    Grant me Your aid in this hour of my need.  I beg You for help because I have been brought low.  I am so low there is nowhere to go but on bended knee.  Lord, use this pain to transform me into Your humble servant.  I willingly accept Your lesson and desire to be used.  Amen

Holy Spirit,
    I feel You enter into me.  I feel enveloped in pure light and love.  This is a precious experience.   I will claim this love and light as I go about the task You have assigned me.  Make me worthy of being entrusted with this holy duty.  Amen

   All  I that I have is Yours.  All my talents and gifts come from You.  Your bounty overflows.  I humbly bow and worship You today in thanksgiving.  I come here to honor You in worship, prayer and songs of praise.  I offer my life to You to use as You will.  I accept Your love and will strive to share Your love with all those I meet today.  Amen

Come, Holy Spirit, renew me, fill me anew with your power, your life and your joy.  Strengthen me where I feel weak and clothe me with your light.  Fill me with your life.  Protect me from all forms of sickness, harm and accidents. I thank you and praise your holy name.  Amen

Lord,
  Please come and heal my wounded heart.  I beg you to heal the torment that is causing anxiety in my life.  Heal the all the damage that struck me in my childhood and from the injuries they have caused throughout my life.  Lord, you know my burdens.  I lay them at your feet and surrender them to you totally.  Heal my memories so that nothing that has happened to me will cause me to remain in pain, anguish and anxiety.  Amen

  Thank you for sharing your wonderful ministry of healing and deliverance.   Thank you for the healing I have experienced today.  You majesty is a thing of wonder and delight.  Amen

Heavenly Father, in the name of Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, I denounce Satan and all his works, all forms of witchcraft, divination, sorcery mediums, spirit guides, Ouija boards, astrology, fortune telling, palm readings and anything else associated with the occult or Satan.  I denounce all in the name of Jesus Christ who by his blood and resurrection breaks their hold over my life.   I confess all these sins before You and I ask You to cleanse and forgive me.  Enter my heart and create in me the kind of person You have intended me to be.  Amen

Soul of Christ, sanctify me;
Body of Christ, save me;
Blood of Christ, inebriate me;
Water from the side of Christ, strength me.

O good Jesus, hear me and within Your wounds, hide me.
Let me never be separated from You.  Protect me from the evil one.
Bid me come to You at my hour of death and call me to be with Your saints.

Jesus,
   Soon we will celebrate Easter.  As I meditate on Your sacrifce this week, make me mindful of the gloroius gift You have given me.  Your suffering has washed me white as snow.  Your pain saved me from the pits of hell.  How can I ever repay this debt?  I will endeavor to be worthy of Your gift.  Amen

Lord God,
    All that I have is Yours.  All that I am is Yours.  Guide my steps and use me to do Your will.  I offer you my praise and glory on this day of worship.  Help me to forgive those who have hurt me and please forgive me all my transgressions.  Amen
