God,
  It is said to look for the rainbow in times of rain.  Right now I am looking for the rainbow.  I have faith in Your promise, God.  And I will continue to search for the rainbow, always.  Amen

Dear Lord,
    I finally figured out why I am happy.  I am content.  Folks look at me and can not comprehend my joy.  I had an AHA moment this morning.  I have gone through all five stages of grief as defined by Elizabeth Kubler Ross - anger, denial, bargaining, depression & finally acceptance.  I am now at stage six,  happiness, joy and contentment.  It is taking stage five, acceptance, and serving up to You, Lord, with a twist of love.  So now I can truly claim I love You, Lord, no matter what hell I am going through.  I recognize that it is with Your grace that I have come so far.  And I thank You for this gift of joy.  I thank You for walking me through the experience of grief.  I thank You for changing me.  I rejoice!  Hallelujah!!  Amen

Lord God Almighty,
  Today I come to You with a heavy heart.  My beloved pet is nearing the end of it's days.  Give me the courage to be merciful.   Give me the strength to follow through and be with me as this chapter is closed.  Endings are painful but a necessary part of the life cycle.  I ask for Your love to support me and bolster me as I cope with my pet's death.  Amen

Lord God Almighty,

I know that I am in the Spirit of God.  I know the Spirit of God is in me.  I know that this Spirit is complete and perfect.  Therefore, it must be complete and perfect in me.   I know that the Spirit is now operating in my affairs.  It is manifesting its beauty and harmony in everything I do.    Good morning, Lord.  You have given me another day.  Guide my steps.   Use me to do Your bidding throughout the day with all I meet.  Make me Your instrument.
   I ask You to aid those in despair.   I ask for intercession for all mothers wounded by words spoken in anger by their children.  Mend their broken hearts and restore the loving ties which once bound them as a family.   Amen

Lord,
   I am filled with awe by the amazing things You have done.  In this time of our deep need, begin again to help us as You did in years gone by.  Show us Your power to save us.  And in Your anger,  remember Your mercy. 
   I will rejoice in the Lord.  I will be joyful in the God of my salvation.  The Sovereign Lord is my strength!   He will make me as surefooted as a deer and bring me safely over the  mountain.

Okay, God, it was a struggle to get up and get out of bed today.  But I am awake now and ready to start my day with prayer to You.  You have blessed this earth with singing birds and wild bunnies hopping off into the underbrush.  You have given a fabulous painting in the morning sky with that glorious sunrise.  All these blessings I acknowledge and give thanks as I commune with You, Lord.  You are majestic and all powerful.  I honor, praise and glorify You.  I give You all my love.  Amen

   I was going to come to You today with my long list of problems.  I was going to admit I am ready to throw in the towel.  I was going to get on bended knee and beg Your divine intervention. 
   But then I looked around me at out world.  I saw all our problems.  There is no work for honest folk because companies are going under, folks are homeless and children are going hungry every day because greed and love of money by a few "fat cats" who got rich while destroying our economy since they made money, power and prestige their god.  Then I look at all the strife and discord and war going on around the globe.  I see people worshipping cell  phones, computers and TVs and I realize how very sad all that must make you. 
  We, like the descendants of Jacob, have forgotten your ten commandments.  We have forgotten to honor, praise and worship You.  We have placed false gods in Your stead.  O Lord,  my God, I beseech You to please forgive us our sins.  Turn our hearts around so we come back to You.  I know You are a forgiving God and I humbly implore You to forgive us.  Heal our hearts and minds so we discard those idols and learn once more that You are our only God!!!

  In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I command a hedge of protection to be around my home and property today and I ask that warrior angels would be placed to stand guard at any holes that might be in that hedge. 
  In the name of Lord Jesus Christ I command any free, unbound or wandering spirits to get out beyond that hedge of protection.
  In the name of Jesus Christ I ask that warrior angels be placed at the doorways and access points to my home and property today that would keep out anything trying to access my home.  I ask that warrior angels bind and separate from their functions any demons attached to anyone entering my home today.
  Father God, I ask for a spiritual umbrella of protection over me.  I place the full armour of God on me and I ask that the light of the Lord Jesus shine through me this day.  Amen

Okay, God, ir's the middle of the night and sleep escapes me once again.  There must be a reason for the sleeplessness.  But I can not fathom why.  So I turn this over to You.  I am Your servant, Lord, and I accept this situation.  Use me, Lord, use me!  Amen

    I come to you with a broken relationship.  I offer it up to You and ask You to carry this burden as I lay it entirely at Your feet.  I desire You to heal the hurt, inspire forgiveness and restore the bond of love.  I am asking for this miracle, God, and I am thanking You for it.  I know you are working on this situation and I now claim Your healing grace in our lives.  Amen
