God,
   I have been so low that I feel I am not worthy of bothering You with prayer.  Please accept my apologies.  I will strive to do better.
Your majesty is astounding.  Your might is awesome.  I offer you praise.  Amen

Lord,
   All power, glory and honors is yours.  You have created this earth and asked us to be its guardians.  Help us make this world a better place.  Let us use love to make others better.  Guide us in our dealings each day.  Bless our loved ones.  Amen

You gave me a gift this morning.  You painted the sky just for me.  Your art work gave me joy and happiness.  Thank you for this and all the other gufts you give me daily.  Amen

God,
    It is dark out but the day has already begun.  I need your guiding light to help me through the day.  Be with me as I tackle my daily tasks.  Amen

Lord,
   Be with all those at work today.  Guide their hands and keep them safe.  Give them joy in their tasks.  Let them feel pride of accomplishment on a job well done.  Amen

God,
   Praise, glory and honor is yours.  I will worship you today and always.  The grandeur of this earth was created by you.  Your majesty is all around me.  Thank you for this bounty.  Amen

God,
   Bless those who are in trouble today.  Calm them and send them help.  Let your commandments be their guide.  Amen

Lord,
   This is a new day with many possiblities before me.  Let me be of help to all I meet today.  Use me, Lord,  Use me.  Amen

I offer up thanks to you, God, for blessing me with a good night's sleep.  That was a wonderful present and I am so happy you gave it to me.  God, you are so good to me and bless my life daily.  I have so much to be thankful for, like being free, having food to eat and clean, cool water to drink.  Thank you for shelter and clothing.  Thank you for family and friends.  And I'll even thank you for the fake phone call telling me I won millions.  It gave me a great chuckle and made me laugh.  It also made me realize I don't need millions.  I have you and you provide for me.  Continue to bless my day.  Amen

Almighty God,
    There are many senior citizens who are battling loneliness and heartache as well as adjusting to their bodies slowing down.  Brighten their day.  Send them hope through friends and neighbors.  Let these helping hand touch them with your love.  Amen

God,
   It saddens me to think of the terror that those in the Middle East.  Hatred turns into war and innocent people are killed.  Be with those hurt and injuried.  Comfort those who have lost dear, loved ones in this conflict.  Amen

Heavenly Father,
   I beseech you this morning to be with all the children.  Bless them and give them a peaceful day.  Let no harm touch them.  Help those who are sick.  Encourage those who feel unloved.  Bath them in kindness.  Amen 

God,
   You are the potter and I am the clay.  Mold me.  Make me useful.  Give me a willing attitude to be your servant.  Let all my work be a reflection of your love.  All praise, glory and honor is yours.  Amen

God,
   Let thy will de done today.  Bless those who are cold and hungry.  Amen

Lord,
   Today is a day of joy in simple pleasures.  You gifts are appreciated.  Thank you for a clear sky and crisp, clean air. You bring me joy.  Amen

  Today I and many thousands take this day to thank you for our blessings.  Thank you for making me your child.  Thank you for loving me.  Thank you for life.  Thank you for freedom to worship.  Thank you for food and shelter.  Thank you for all the little things that make life worth living, like kindness and friendship.  Bless us, God, and continue to keep us safe.  Amen

Lord,
   This time of year we take time to think of all our blessings.  There is so much to thank you for right now.  You have blessed me with life.  You give me sunshine and clean air to breathe.  You have given me shelter and food.  So be with those who have no shelter and those who are hungry.  I sometimes forget those who are hurting, hungry and cold with no place to live.  They must be heartsick.  Bless them, Lord.  Amen

O Great God,
    All in this world is your gift to us.  Make us worthy of being your children.  Use us to make others feel better and feel loved.  Give us the attitude of a willing servant.  Amen

Heaven Father,
    What a wonderful day you have given me.  It is full of possibilities.  Make me your instrument throughout the day.  Use me to encourage others.  Amen

Lord God,
    There are many sick children fighting for their lives in hospitals all over the world.  Be with them, Lord, and give them joy today.  Bolster their parents and comfort them.  Be with their caregivers and have compassion and love guide them as they care for the little ones.  Let them feel your presence today.  Let them grow stronger in their faith.  Use this journey to form a deeper love with you.   Amen

God,
  You are everywhere.  If I open my eyes I can see you.  If I still myself I can hear you.  All praise and glory is yours.  Amen

God,
   It's another start of the work week for many people.  Help them to get there on time and realize that they are there to work a full day.  Let their attitude be one of helpfulness. 
   And, God, let that be my attitude, too.  Amen

God,
   Watch over and keep safe all the little children of the world.  Protect their innocence.  Instruct them in your ways.  Give them joy in learning about God in heaven.  Amen

Lord,
   Today I am asking your grace and blessings on those who have trouble sleeping through the night.  Give them rest, Lord.  Let it be a healing and restorative rest.  Amen

Lord,
  I know you have put me right where I need to be.  I will be your servant today.  I offer up my service to you.  Amen

Lord,
   Please be with me today.  Let the words of my mouth be ones of kindness and welcome.  Guide my steps and have me show love.  It will be a challenging day and I will need your grace to get through each hour of the day.  Help me forgive those who hurt me.  Make me radiate love.  With your help I know I can be good.  Amen

God,
   Today is a new day.  I ask your blessings on those who feel alone and betrayed.  Your Son knew what that felt like.  He suffered that for us.  So remember those experiencing the same hurt today.  Send aid and loving kindness to them.  This I ask in your Son's name.  Amen

Oh sweet Lord,
   I give the thanks and praise.  I come to honor you for being my Father.  You have blessed me with life and love.  You make me feel compassion for others.  Today I ask your blessing for those whose heart has been torn asunder.  Help those who have been shaken to their very core.  Let them find you love and light so they are comforted.  Start the healing process for them, Lord. Amen

Lord,
   I am scared.  I am shaking with fear.  Please give me strength and aid.  Amen

Dear Savior,
   You have sacrificed your life to erase my sins.  Thank you for making me clean.  Thank you for coming into my heart. 
   Please be with others just learning about you.  Let them be free to learn about you.  Let them be free to worship you. 
    Send disciples to them to spread your word.  Guide and protect your ministers.  Let the whole world rejoice and revel in your love.  Amen

Lord,
   I give thanks and praise to you this day.  I have a full day to use.  Guide my steps as I go about the day.  Keep me safe I pray.  Be with those who are hurt and scared.  Send your light and love to them all day.  Amen

Heavenly Father,
   Many feel unloved and turn to drugs to numb the pain.  Many feel the pain of child abuse and take the path of self-destruction, unable to cope with adulthood.  Help these hurting and lost souls.  Send healing hands to those in pain.  Be with them as they face their bad choices and learn to make new ones.  Renew their spirit.  Guide them to you and instill hope in their hearts.  Amen

God,
   I am asking you to bless and comfort those who have lost their homes.  You know their sorrow.  You know their pain.  Give them courage to face the loss and hope to face the trials of rebuilding their lives.  Let all those who touch their lives do so with love, kindness and understanding.  Amen

Heavenly Father,
   You are mighty and powerful.  You have created this world.  You have accepted me as your child.  Thank you for the gift of life.  Thank you for these trials.  May I use them to grow stronger in faith.  Amen

Lord,
   Please be with those struggling with the winter storm.  I ask a special blessing on the homeless caught in this unexpected bad weather.  Give patience and understanding to those fraught with anxiety and worry.  Amen

Thank you, God, for the freedom of worship.  There are places in this world where belief in you is punishable by death.  I pray that all the believers in the world have a blanket of protection covering them.  Strengthen them, God.   Give them courage to spread your word to others.  Open the heart  of those persecuting them.  You can change their hearts, Lord, like you converted Paul.  Let us all pray for the freedom of worship.  Amen

God,
   Today we come to worship you and give you praise and glory.  We take time to reflect and meditate.  We take time to examine ourselves and discover any sins we may have committed in the past week.  Forgives us our transgressions.   Help us to forgive others who we feel have sinned against us.  Cleanse our hearts.  Renew our connection to you.  Amen

Lord,
   Enter my heart this very day.  Mold me into your vessel.  Use me today to spread your love to others.  Make me your servant.  Amen

God,
   Do you look down from heaven and become sadden with what you see here on earth?  Do you still have hope that we can become loving and giving people? 
   Sometimes I see the cruelness we inflict on others and cringe with shame.  We know better and we should do better.  Help us learn to treat everyone with kindness. 
   Sexual slavery needs to stops.  Hatred needs to stop.  Abuse needs to stop.  So please change our hearts. Guide us into becoming better.  Help us eradicate evil.  Encourage us to make a difference and conquer the hurtfulness on earth.  Amen  

God,
   Thank you, Lord, for life.  It is a gift.  I might get down and depressed but then I remember that I am your child.  So it all becomes okay.  So I rejoice in your love and thank you for the day.

Lord God Almighty,
   I am your humble servant.  You have given me a new day.  Help me use it wisely.  Guide the words of my mouth so only love is sown by me today. 
   Please help those who are battling despair and depression.  Those suffering dark days need to feel your healing love.  It's awful to feel so far from you.  Give them a ray of sunshine.  Give them hope, Lord.    Amen
